Question Where do you put your cutting devices?

I've got a Nomad XT I've been diving for a while now. I really like it (for the diving I do) but one of the challenges I have is where to put cutting devices on it. I have a couple of cutting devices I've figured out - a parachute cutter on my backup computer, a DIR knife in a sleeve on my waist, but nothing on my Nomad. The size of the cutting device sleeves seems too small to fit on any of the "attachment points" of the Nomad.

Making this a little more challenging, I recently purchased a trilobite but trying to find a place for it on my rig (rig = body + harness) is proving to be difficult. The only strap on my Nomad that seems to fit the narrow sheath loop they provide is the chest strap - and I already have enough going on with a drysuit inflator valve that I don't really need one more thing there. I tried looking at the straps on my Predator, which seem to be the ideal size, but I can't get the cutting device sleeve past the locking clips on the predator straps, without cutting the end of the straps off. (I guess cutting the straps, which appear to be 3 feet long at least, is possible, but I have some fear of cutting the straps on my brand new dive computer...kind of like the fear of putting a hole in a drysuit for a pee valve I suppose.)

Where does everyone store their cutting gear? I've seen a lot of cutting devices on waist straps and computers, but have folks come up with any creative ideas for how to attach cutting devices? (super bonus points for pictures of what you did)

I do not have any Nomad experience, but I have zip tied a small line cutter to the bottom of the goodman handle on my light. It worked well, but it did feel slightly akward at first.

Ruh-roh . . . I haven't mounted my Trilobyte, yet. My current z-knive is on my right shoulder strap, above the chest rings.

My Trilobyte is on my dive computer strap, perpendicular to the strap length. I also have a regular z-knife on a shoulder strap of my Nomad and another on the strap that goes from the bottom of the shoulder strap to the waist belt. Drop by the house and I'll show ya

I have one small knife in a sheath on my left forearm. I have a Bosun's knife in a pocket. I also have a Trilobyte on one of the chest straps, but it is under my backup light. I figure if I loose the other two, then I can get to it by moving the light.

Trilobite on the upper RH shoulder strap(zip tied), and another one on my light handle.

I keep a cutting device on each wrist; left side threaded through bungies holding compass, right side on computer bands.

I have two trilobites on my nomad; one upper left above chest D ring, one on the waist strap.

Note to Santa... I apparently don't have enough cutting devices...

I keep a knife on the standard 2" webbing on the wait belt in the DIR position. Something small is nice. I like having a normal knife, I generally use the blunt end as a screwdriver etc... more than the cutting edge. I also keep a trilobite on my computer strap as many have stated.

Question for those of you who have so many cutting devices? Have you ever actually lost one? Im a huge advocate of lots of lights (I carry 5 generally) but I also have had multiple failures on one dive. Knifes can't really fail, just get lost/dropped, is that the reasoning for carrying more than 2? I guess if you were doing lots of line work I could see being more prepared, but I can't think of much of a reason to carry more than 1 backup under normal conditions - not that it really hurts anything - just wondering.
