    Default dark water tunnel line

dove peacock over the weekend and took a look at the dark water tunnel line from the olsen side and it looked slack. Went back the next day and took a look from the crossover side and it seemed tight but with a lot of balled up line at the jump. Has anyone dove it lately and could you advise me of the condition of the line.

Last time I dove it the crossover side was slack. The rest of the line was ok. I did report it. I tried to fix it but was making it worse. I thought it was repaired.

We have tried to get a line committee member in there to check. Scheduling and people being sick has prevented this from happening.

Dove the Dark Water tunnel about a month ago. Saw the 'birds nest' of line at the beginning on the crossover side. Line was slack for the first 30' or so but nice thereafter.

the dark water tunnel is aptly named. we dove it over a year ago, full of tannic water layers which are cool when your on the top looking down at them, but not so cool when you have to swim through the low vis tannic water. we got on the line a couple of times during our dive because of this, any slack in the line would make it an even more challenging dive, at least under the conditions we had any way. this is a dive that will sort out your skills.

It's been almost a year since we were there, but at the time I noted the line had come off one of the initial placements, and it looked like the rock on the overhead that had bene used had broken. A couple wraps on the remaining placement took up the slack for that dive.

Otherwise the rest of line looked ok at that point and it was not an issue past the first 30-40 ft.
