Thread: Harness plates

    Default Harness plates

The type harness used by the brittish cave diving group. I have a set of plates made by Kent Tooling. I have added "handles" to the butt plate. Just add some webbing and a few D rings you'll have a great sump harness. Also has a small wing. Free to a good home. Friends get first shot.
blessed are the cracked for they let in the light!

those of us with our own personal homemade harness that works better than anything else ever....that's who!

ps: mark, i recently found those soft plates like you showed me on sale (closeout) and bought one.... thinking of rigging it as an extra harness/wing.

I have 2 of those kent tooling plates. great for sidemount harnesses. I build 2 for diving here in ireland. Wetsuits and drysuit. Welded on 2 large d rings and they work awesome. Have not tried them with the wetsuit yet as weather too cold for that this timeof year. LOL
Anyone interested in a set or 2 let me knoew can bring to Florida when i come at Xmass. Think they work out abot $40 a set and have a bit of weight so saves adding weight blocks as well.
Mike if u still have the wing i would lve to take it off ur hand as always messing around with new systems and ideas to come with a universal harnesses that works for cave, sump, and ocean sidemount diving.
