    Default Photos in posts

There are several ways to include pictures in posts. The following is the easiest way:

While composing your post you must use the "Go Advanced" button below and to the right of the dialog box. Below the advanced box, under Attachments, click the "Manage Attachments" button. Choose the "Add Files" button at the top right. In the box that pops up, choose "Basic Uploader." Then click the "Browse" button. Find the picture on your computer and choose "Upload" and then "Done."

You should then be able to submit the post with the picture in it.

Another way is in the "Reply" window, there are a series of icons at the top. The square one to the right of the earth icon allows to you include pictures. Once you've clicked the button, you can upload pictures from your own computer or type the URL of a photo on the internet.

I just tried as suggested but the picture came out much smaller than other picture postings. How do I get to appear the size of other ones like superbugman's?

I thought of that but what if you are the OP? Do you just start a post and then reply to your posting?

The same options (icons) are there when you start a new thread.

I never use the icons, but the code is fairly universal for forums nowadays. You'll need the photo to be online somewhere already, whether it be picasa, fotobucket, or another forum like scubaboard(which allows hotlinking photos, whereas cavediver does not).

Use square brackets instead of the squigly ones in a format like below.

Do I need to make the image a certain size to do it this way?
