Tapatalk keeps resetting all unread to read

Every time I open Tapatalk, it wipes out the pointers to what posts I have read and I have to look at the3 dates in every category to see whats new. This is a killer for me and I will have to stop using it unless I can figure out how to make it stop.

The only site I use it on is Cavediver.net

Any one know what is causing this?

I have the same issue, i just figured it was due to tapatalk and the forum not both being updated or something along those lines.

Totally a hijack, but I used to have a Windows Mobile phone, and when I got a Droid I HATED the way the forum came up on it. You have to touch each icon just right. So I got Tapatalk. When my phone died and they sent me a new one, I got on the forum before installing Tapatalk. I was more used to the intricacies of the screen and like it so much better that I never even bothered to install Tapatalk on it.

Cdf is the only one that doesn't show unread post correctly. No big deal......

No worries, it seemed to work earlier today and is still working.

I´m new to the forum (currently lurking & learning) and also ran into this issue with tapatalk on an iPad setting all unread posts to read.

A quick search on the tapatalk support forum showed that this appears to be a known issue:

Is there any chance that the fix (management of unread posts on the server) might get implemented?

As a possibly alternative, has anyone tested Forum Runner with cavediver.net?
