Peacock III line loose

Dove PIII for the first time this weekend. Absolutely beautiful system. However, the mainline needs to be tighten. The initial tie-off had come undone and the goldline was loose as far back as 500ft, where the dive was turned. We connected our mainline reel about 200ft in, where the goldline tighten slightly and there was a good spot to limit tension by placing the reel on a ledge. We re-attached the initial tie-off and removed most the slack. However, I am unfamiliar with protocol. Could someone please send this through the proper channels or if there is a line committee, to them. Thank you.
