Amigos is cleaning from the Ft. Macomb boat ramp to Troy on Oct 2nd to join NFSA at Troy for lunch. This section is non-diving since it is 3 miles long but Amigos is diving other sections during the Great Suwannee River Clean-Up. To register for any of Amigo's sections please visit http://suwaneecleanup.eventbrite.com/

    Default GSRC kickoff

For everyone's information here are the details on the kick off this Saturday:

Please come to the Great Suwannee River Cleanup Kick Off Celebration on Sept 25 from 11-2 at the Ivey Memorial Park in Branford. We would love to have all of you there. You can bring material to promote your group’s cleanup, too, if you’d like. I should also have the t-shirts there for the section leaders and also flags sporting the logo for your boats.

I would also like for you to send me your plans for your cleanup so we can post your event on our facebook page – or you can put the information directly on facebook page yourself, if you prefer. Just search for the Current Problems page and you should go right to it. As time goes on, I want to post each group’s results from their respective cleanups as well to keep people informed about the events progress and achievements.

We absolutely need your dates; this is getting critically important at this late date. People are asking me every day when one is scheduled that fits their personal plans. They need to be able to go to the spreadsheet and see what is going on. And I need to update the map, too! You may get calls from interested folks asking if they could join in your cleanup event. This is for you to decide. E-mail me with your dates NOW please. Word of warning, though. Oct 2 is really maxed out. Unless you need nothing from us but bags and a scale, pick another date, please.

Also would like to know what supplies you would like and begin making arrangements
to get them to you. Hopefully we can meet halfway between the office and your site somewhere to make it easier on all of us.

Remember, section leaders, if you would like flyers or posters, I’m happy to mail them to you!

We want to thank all of you for joining in this great event, and are grateful for your role as a section leader. Please get back to me with any questions you may have. I’m here to help!

Ya know, whenever anyone posts pictures of these events (ie. socials or cleanups etc.), it would help us non-locals a lot to have one of those "silhouette" pictures with numbers to be able to identify the players...

Of those in the 2nd picture (ie. the one with all the junk in it), I can identify:
    • Wayne
    • Kelly
    • Shirley
    • The lady next to Wayne (I assume his wife)
So who are all you other folks???
