It's official, moving to Hawaii within the next 3 weeks
Well, it's official. I knew we were going but wasn't sure if it was gonna be July or Dec. Now we have to get everything ready to move in the next 3 weeks. Jamie is already losing her mind. It's gonna be very hectic and stressful but I can hardly wait to get in the water there!!

Lucky you! Might have to try some lava tubes now but the open water is also awesome.
I'm definantly gonna do whatever I can to continue with Cavern. I hope there is something to do as far as working on my Intro, etc. But either way, it should be some great diving.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad luck. There is absolutely no diving in Hawaii. Everything you've heard is false advertising. To help you out, I'll give you $100 for all your gear.

LMAO OK, sold. I don't do shipping though so it will have to be local pick up in Hawaii. I was just thinking that as a "Murphy" and how "Murphy's Law" seems to apply to me on an hourly basis that there was no way I was that lucky. Now I know. Thanks for clearing that up for me. LOL

How long is your assignment? Having been in the CG, for most one tour is enough....you get island happy after awhile.
There are 3 kinds of people in this world; those who are good at math, and those who are not.
We'll be stationed there for 3 years. Not sure how much time I'll actually spend there though with deployments.

Safe travels Murf. I want to hear about some W.W. II wreck diving once you get there and start diving.
No chance I guess you'll be able to head down this way before you head west? If not, please let me know when you can so we can dive again.
I was wondering what happened to you Tuesday! Went to the pond and the vis was pretty good, around 20'.
Anyway, good luck with the move. If you want to get together and do some diving before you ship out let me know.
Also if your going to sell some gear before you go let me know since I'm close.
