Inserting a photo in post

Hi Chip. How do I insert a photo into a posting? Currently, if I want to show a photo, I insert the link and they click on it to see the photo. But I want the photo to show up in my post, not just the link. Thanks, Glen

Hi Glen …
1) Upload the picture into the forum picture section (see the uploading pictures announcement).
2) Right click on the picture and select properties.
3) Under the “General” tab for properties, you will see the Address (URL): for the picture. You include the full URL in your post to display the picture. Make sure the URL ends with a .jpg (the actual name of the picture).
4) You also need to include the image HTML tags before and after the pictures URL. Like this:
(without the space between the // and cavediver.net)
You can have the post software insert the HTML image tags by highlighting the photo URL and click on the Img button when creating a post.
5) Be kind to the slow dial-up modem users by not posting too many in-line pictures
