Any suggestions on anyone who repairs HID lights?
My old 21W HID failed today.
Bulb and battery are OK.
And no, it's not Halcyon or Salvo.

Richard - If it's a DR light send it directly back to them. Ask for a quote to fix before doing the actual repairs so there are no surprises.
You could send it to us, but all we will do is send it off to DR and charge you the additional shipping so better to send it yourself.

I have had Ballasts go out. They are easy to replace. Dont know much about the 21w, but have done a lot of work on the 10w HIDs.
How do you know the battery and bulb are good? sometimes they will meter right and still not work. if you put the bulb in another light and it fired up (same with battery) they i would say ballast. but i would also check the connections on the switch and put a meter on that too. I once had one flood and everything was fine but a little bit of corrosion formed on the switch and it didnt work right afterwards.
Just some thoughts/ramblings from a guy who has been there.

i had my OMS light repaired by Gibby. he is a member of the forum, i dont know how to get a hold of him. He did a great job, he replaced my batteries with lithium ion batteries after OMS wanted to sell me a new light because they changed the design of the mini phantom and had no batteries to replace the one that came with the light. So OMS
left me high and dry and Gibbydid a great job.

350xfire (Hector) builds and sells his own lights. It might be worth a PM to ask him to help diagnose the problem.
