Holiday 2009 Photo Contest

Okay, a new contest... short notice... sorry (not really)...

Best picture taken this holiday season.

Rules:

1 ) Must be cave diving related
2 ) Must include something 'holiday' related
3 ) Not obscene (ie: SID, Herbie, don't even think about it )
4 ) Must be taken this year, before 4 January 2010
5 ) Contest Ends 15 January 2010. We all are judges.
6 ) Can not include Forrest Wilson's (santa) beard
7 ) Must be one's own work/picture (don't submit other's)
8 ) More rules if we can think up any good ones....

Prizes:
It was going to be a brand new Hollis DPV, but on 2nd thoughts:

1) Intova Backup LED light (standard batteries or lithium, your choice)
2) Spool
3) Handful of cave arrows

Edit - I need to give Gene Page credit for this pic. We hired him to spend a day with us and take pics. He does excellent work and is fun to work with. I only get credit for the idea and being a underwater model dork.

They both have that identical "perky" look, so they must be...can't tell (nor do I want to), are they off the left or right head

Depends, did you plan the dive to use the hats? Where the hats essential pieces of equipent on the dive? Did you have back-up hats? Where all members of the team wearing the same hats?
Did you have fun? If yes it was not DIR because fun could distract you from the dive plan and you could die.

Merry Christmas, wish I could take some cave pictures. As it is I'm diving 39 degree water and getting bitten by sea lions so I guess none of my pictures qualify.

I'm living proof, with pics to boot, that you can be DIRish AND have fun.

We failed on the backup hat part, but if I lost my hat, my buddy would share his.

This is a terrible hijack, although fun. Let 's get back to seeing more Christmas cave diving pics as it was intended.
