Update from Jim Coke's blog page:
Well folks Jim is breathing on his own, talking and has no memory of what has happened. As of now barring any unforeseen incidents Jim will be released and returning to Tulum to recuperate as soon as next Monday. His lung infection is gone.
After learning this and talking the the hospital about the expenses for his treatment, they were a fraction of what was anticipated last week. To those of you who have offered to send donations we happily can say that they are not needed, but the gesture is appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who has responded in kind emails, calls. We will keep you posted on any changes. Jim now needs time to heal, and will be able to do so in Tulum.
Glad to hear that he his doing better. But how do cavers keep from getting "histo"?
Ian Seibert

Jim Coke has been moved to a hospital in Ohio, but he is still piling up medical bills.
The NSS-CDS has set up a donation fund to help Jim out, since he has no medical insurance.
