want to start mapping

hey guys i find myself often drawing maps based on memory, i will try to scan a few and post, i am currently trying to make a map that has every detail that i could find on all maps of the devils cave system, and i plan for it to be about 4'x4' and, i am also working on a 3D map, but don't think it will turn out really good, i was wondering when the next cave map/survey workshop was so i could attened, and learn more, i am only 16 years old, and am Basic/Intro certified, but i don't want that to stop me from mapping the exploration i can do while on the mainline, i currently have drawn maps of peacock, ginnie cavern, Devils eye (my best one yet), Devils ear, and Vortex Springs... and i was posting this in hopes on getting some advise on Cave Mapping.....
