The line runs into the silt and big debris piles in a couple places at lafayette blue. we had to gap it
also it was limp and laying on the floor for most of the way from lafayette blue to snake sink. we tightened it up some but it needs work.

Is lafayette blue open to dive?? Was there 3 months ago and told no due to bad steps by ranger.

Too bad the nitrates are so high in there. In the mid 80's it was a much better dive with all the connected sinks. Dropped in Kitty last October for a solo and had crap raining down so I called it. No fun when I cant see. My log book from 84 reads of going in snake and coming out in the main basin with hundreds of Barbours map turtles and the local swimmers looking at us like we came from Mars.
going back this weekend
if I have some vis on the way in at least that's good enough for me :P
