Sent to me by the Florida Survey Organization. At 2:00 this afternoon [March 26, 2009], the USFWS issued a call for a caving moratorium in
all WNS-affected states and adjoining states.

Remember if you have caved in any of these states, decontaminate your gear, a diluted bleach solution works well. We don't want WNS here in Florida.
Included should be any cave diving activities around bats or bat nesting areas.

Please take this seriously. We do not want a much needed species of animals lost because of our activities.

I have rarely seen a bat while cave diving. There was the one time in Ginnie springs, but I didn't think that one looked too healthy...
