I assume the 10.00 does not cover Ginnie park entry fee?

That is correct.

Just a reminder to mark your calendars for April 11th. This should be a great way to get back to the basics and make everyone's diving safer.

Any word from Ginnie? Is the NACD event still a Go?
Word as of last night is that Ginnie Springs will be open and the springs will hold out against the rising Santa Fe so the in water sessions are still a go!
There is still time to register, so come on out!

What's the latest? Is Hwy 27 @ Branford going to open?

I was told within the last couple of hours by someone who was at Ginnie today that the river hasn't come up significantly and we anticipate no problems proceeding with the event tomorrow. I have no information regarding the HWY 27 bridge in Branford and have not heard that it was closed - anybody else?

I was at Ginnie this afternoon and did a dive in the ballroom as well as the Devil's system and although the water is up a bit conditions were great.

I just returned from the Spring into Safe Cave Diving workshop and wanted to say thank you to the NACD for hosting the event. Considering that about 10 of you gave your time to us on a Saturday, make that a big thank you.
For those who did not attend, we had a 2 1/2 discussion on various questions raised by the group, followed by lunch, and then an afternoon dive with various skills thrown in. It was defintely worth my time. It is amazing how rusty some skills can get from lack of practice/use.
I hope there is enough interest to make this an annual event.
Thanks again to all who put this together.

I also wanted to say thanks to the NACD, and anyone else involved, for hosting this event. I had a great time, and it was a load of fun. There were a lot great stories and discussions. Also thank you Don for diving with me and my buddy and running in-water drills.
I'd definitely do this again! (And the shirt is very nice too!!!)

Yes, my wife and I had a fun time during the discussion session with the instructors and the day ended with a great dive with Bert. Thanks to all that set this up, hopefully this will become an annual event.
