I am looking for a sidemount mentor/instructor in the Washington D.C., Northern Virginia area. I wont be back to Florida for a few months and wanted to get set up and streamlined.
Anyone on here in the area or knows anyone in the area?:smt100
Thanks,
Scott
If he is up there, Daehag Kim is very good. He spends part of the year in FL, though. He doesn't log on often. I will PM you contact information.

I'm not a mentor/instructor, but I dive sidemount and would go diving with you, if it works out. Last weekend I went to Mt Storm Lake and did a sidemount dive. It was 54°.

I should also heap some more praise on Daehag. He was very personable in our pathetic diving up here in NoVa. Down in FL I dove with him at the New Years Social. He was extremely smooth and very helpful as I tried to improve my finning technique.

I was at Mt Storm Yesterday for a dive! I would love to dive with you sometime. I dont have a rig yet, so I am looking for one I can borrow for a few dives until I can buy one.
I dive Millbrook and Rawlings also. So anytime you want to dive, just let me know. I am sure any pointers you can give me would be great!

I spoke with him and he seems like a great guy. Unfortunately, he can't dive with me right now, but he recommended somone else that lives close.

NO WAY will I dive Millbrook until it warms up at least as much as Mt Storm--which was cold enough as it was.
