Anyone know of any caves or springs in south Florida? (i.e Miami) I know there used to be springs in the early 1900's that flowed. Where there's springs there's usually a cave.

Even if the springs no longer flow, there could be a penetrable cave waiting to be discovered. Extremely limited info on these springs.

There were several springs with strong flow in the Miami River, which is now a canal that I wouldn't dive in with a full face mask. There were even some dry caves along the river with large cavern entrances, these were dynamited in the 20's I believe. I've seen a couple books on "Old Florida" that have showed the caves and the rapids in the Miami River back before it was all blasted to make a canal.
