Anyone know who to talk to about donating a cart to ISSP to be kept at near the headspring parking area to use to haul gear to Jug Hole?

That might be a good project for the North Florida Springs Alliance during the dive season for Jug Hole

Perhaps Wayne Kinard could donate one (with an Amigos sticker on it too) as he's the closest dive shop (right down the street).

FW what do you need a cart for?

I have seen you take your tanks up and down the hill at CB. Be nice if we could get a cart or a tram put in there. Think the CDS might hwlp with that?

I have a big rubber tire wagon I will donate to the CDS for this purpose. I have only used it to haul my gear back and forth at Buford a few times.

Someone will have to come get it from me though. I have no idea when I will be up in cave country next.

It is located in Tarpon Springs, but I could meet someone in Tampa or the surrounding area.

Has anyone heard back from ISSP on a place to store it?

FYI,

Troy Springs has two, just like the one in the photo in this topic. They keep them behind the bathroom. VERY Handy!

Does anyone know who to talk to at ISSP about keeping one there? I am sure we could get one donated, if we knew there was a place to keep it.

Forrest it was done and approved. When the season restarts this coming October we'll put a cart there.

Fantastic! Thanks!

This is another example of what the North Florida Springs Alliance can do for you. I encourage anybody who is not a member to join at http://northfloridaspringsalliance.org/ The more members we have the better response we have. The paltry sum of $15 will entitle you to not just a cart for Jug Hole, but also a monthly newsletter, and other things forthcoming. We need your support!!!

The cart is there. The NFSA paid for it & it has been being used. Check http://northfloridaspringsalliance.org/jug.htm for details & the combination for the lock.

That will save a lot of room in the SUV not having to bring our cart. Thank You.

E-mail was sent to me today stating the cart was not locked. If anyone is going over there please let me know so I can give you the combination to the lock and we can make sure the cart stays there.

If the cart disappears I am afraid its not in the NFSA's budget to buy another one.

We were there yesterday morning, and the lock was very hard to close. If someone was there in the afternoon, they may have tried to lock it, but couldn't. I think it needs graphite, or something similar.
