I know this dosn't help much, but I used to dive quite a bit with an older woman named "dixie" I think. If I remember right, she moved to mexico, to cave dive. If she's still around, Im sure she knows the place well by now. I am trying to find her contact info now, but not having much luck. I will post back if I find it, as she is a really nice woman, and would love to play tour guide most likely.

Dennis at Aquanauts in Puerto Adventuras is my recomendation. Modern operation with newer gear. Martin there is an excellent guide, and they love cave divers!

If you are just looking for a guide and not a trip I would HIGHLY recommend Steve Bogarts. Steve runs Aztec Diving (http://www.aztecdiving.com/index.htm).

I can give a second vote for Aquanauts. When we couldn't get out with the Zero Gravity folk, they took care of us over there. Dennis, Carlos, and Alessandra were fantastic.

If you want something in the DIR category, there is Zero Gravity (http://www.zerogravity.com.mx/home.htm).

I'm here right now with Connie. Another great trip. Just dived Labnaha today. I'm pooped and having a hard time keeping my eyes open! It will be lucky if I make it through dinner!

One thing nice about Connie's trips is she has a driver every day who helps with gear loading and stays with the van while you are diving. Makes for a secure dive....no worries about smash & grab while you are in the system. There have been a rash of them lately too.

I've been diving with Dennis Weeks (http://www.aquanauts-online.com) a few times. He's great! Laid back, will do the dives you want, sidemounts if you want, and picks you up and drops you off every day.

Gabriel Gasca Rubi was my instructor in Mexico for my cave course. Great guy, very knowledgable and a blast. He does guiding and can supply equipment. His wife manages vacation properties. His website is:

Tampa Adventure Sports trip to Mexico is sold out, but there is one spot available on a 6 day all-inclusive cave-diving trip for 20-27 February and one on the 28 Feb - 7 March weeks. Unfortunately, the current economy caused last minute cancellation on each of these weeks.
