The main line at 750 feet from Orange Grove to Challenge at Peacock is getting thread bare. The outer sheath is gone with only 3 inner threads holding the line together.

Well hopefully you at least put in a temporary patch right?

As long as the 3 inner threads are intact, it shouldn't be an immediate issue. I e-mailed the info to Jim Wyatt, CDS Safety Chair and he'll get it to the Peacock line committee.

If peacock is divible sunday I will patch it.

Jim Wyatt is an officer of the North Florida Springs Alliance,and will be at Peacock Saturday for their meeting. I am sure they can notify the line committee to effect repair/replacement

Yes, the spot I'm referring to is 750 feet from Orange Grove, right before the keyhole (my name and description). The Keyhole is at the 800 foot line marker. The line cuts tightly to the right and rubs up against the rock.

Was there today. Someone have put on a ''loose'' patch, but not sure if that patch may hold if the gold line fails. I am not good at fixing lines but It would be a god idea to remplace 4 to 5 feet of gold line.

Did the Distance tunnel yesterday, February 14th, and noticed the line is fixed. Thank you to whoever put in the new line.
