Wow you guys even made a new folder for greedy slobs like me :-)

I have 3 page hard plastic DR slate that i wear on my wrist.
- i cut off that little plastic lug that clutters the wrist space and catches line under it.
- after some use the writing surface becomes "glossy" the led pencil slips and writing is not sharp anymore. Use 100 sandpaper on on plastic pages and it will be perfect.
- did you buy that slate\mask cleaner in diveshop? Dude, this is just Aquafresh toothpaste in smaller and more expensive package
- velcro wrist strap is a good place to put your DR Z-knife on and its sheath is a pocket for that hanging pencil

I've always used "SoftScrub" to clean a grooty slate when an eraser won't do the job...same stuff gets mold release out of a new mask...

Good hints re the Z-knife mount and how to not buy a pencil per Dive...my only fault with the DR slate is being a wetsuit wearer, suit compression leads to the slate ending up on my WRIST at depth...
