I thank all of you for the input on hp gauge hoses for side mount diving. In an effort to try and save time and money I wanted to try the most popular hose configurations which hopefully would leave me with little adjustments rather than lots of dives experimenting with the numerous configurations.

As I stated in the first thread I primarily dive a "mission Specific" sidemount rig so I dont plan for now to even dive with a long hose on either tank although I do intend to experiment with diving for example dual 7' or 5' hoses.

My main concern isn't so much the regulator hose but the bc and dry suit hoses. For now I plan to keep the nomad's inflator on the top of the wing rather than relocate it like some have suggested. I have heard numbers from 12" to 18" hoses on the inflator systems but currently since all I have are standard length hoses I can only say those are way to long and the shortest hoses seem to make most sense.

I am 5' 7" tall, 160 lbs and am diving a nomad. I believe my bungees are the the 13" ones but I measures the actual bungee to a length of only 12 inches and from the quick link to the end of the snap its 16.25".

I dont want to get anything longer than necessary so I am hoping some of you can let me know what you use and what you recommend for me.

Thanks for the help. T
