View Full Version : Line at Wayne's World Almost Broken

The gold line at WW needs to be fixed. There are several spots between the basin and the "T" that are down to just a couple of strands. If that breaks while someone is in there on a lousy vis day, they might have a hard time finding their way out.

I don't mind fixing it, but I probably won't be back there for a couple of weeks. Also, I would need to get my hands on some gold line - does anyone know where I can get some?

In the meantime, if anyone is going there, you might want to think about running your own line from the O2 hanger line at 20' to the T.

You can talk to Kelly Jessop for gold line if you would like to repair it.

Please ensure that there are loops in the same places as there are currently. Other then that, it should be a simple repair.

I won't be in that area for a few weeks, if not more.

What are those loops for? I was under the impression that they were just spots where someone tied a couple of knots to tighten up the line.

Deco or Bailout bottles depending on the dive equipment and the dive plan.

Ok. I didn't realize you hung them from the gold line... I thought they just went on those pieces of rope that are nearby.

I'll put new loops in the same place.

Ok, Gold line has been replaced from the basin to the first T.
