In case anyone was wondering. Troy re-opened yesterday. The Ranger said it is still a little tanic but vis should not be any trouble down to abt 50ft. She also advised you still cannot bring any lights as of yet.

I dove this today around the time the park was about to close to try diving a set of LP112's I had just picked up. At this point diving this without a light is pointless. Almost all surface light was lost at 60ft or so, I managed to find the log near the cavern entrance to get a point of reference.
The ranger told me that a group dove earlier in the day (I assume direct sunlight) and said it was OK. I had a 10w HID and hit the bottom before I could even tell there was a bottom there. You can see a white rock from about 3-5ft away, but if you're shining your light onto sand, there's nothing to see, and you'll be diving by feel.
