Anyone out there upgrade to an 18 and have an extra head laying around (10w?)... I'd like that and a double pair of wetmates.

No, but I did upgrade to a 21 watt and now have an extra 17 watt head.

did you do that to have different bulb choices?

I heard it was going to be hard with Welch-Allyn bulbs to find a replacement for these 18's for Halcyon....

No, did it to have a much better light. Had one made through Howard Sandrof and I absolutely love it. My old light was a DR MR11 fixed focus which had a good beam and never gave me any problems. I bought it about the time that DR was discontinuing them so I got a good deal on it. Should be no problems with the WA bulbs as they are currently just revamping their setup and will be back on line soon with enhanced production.

I have a 10w hid adjustable focus dive rite...needs a bulb..pm me and we'll discuss $$$
