Hi folks,
I see all the great talk about the Great Outdoors Restaurant. I wanted to fill you all in on another great restaurant just a block up the street called Trombone Charleys. Many cave divers have visited Trombone Charleys and had a great time. TC's serves Fresh Seafood, Steaks, Chicken, and Pasta dishes along with homemade desserts and other Chef specials. TC's also has 2 for 1 happy hour from 4pm till 6pm. Beer and Wine. TC's offers a $5.00 workin stiff lunch special which includes some type of sandwich and glass of tea. TC's has live music INDOORS during dinner hours. The music is jazz and blues and anything in between. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. You get soup, salad, entree with side item and no cover charge for the music. The atmosphere is incredible. Has a New Orleans feel. All food is cooked to order, no fried foods! You may wait a few extra minutes but its well worth it. You have plenty of things to enjoy while your food is being cooked like sipping on the homemade soup, eating your salad and enjoying the live music. Yes, I said being COOKED! Not thrown in a fryer for 3 minutes, not frozen and then dumped in a pan of oil. Real fresh food that is made to order. You all need to check out this place! The servers are very personal and will take good care of you. Its nice to dine in restaurants where millions of dollars have been invested into it. It looks really fancy and everything is brand new. One thing that TC's has that not many multi million dollar restaurants has is Character. You wont find every table looking the same, you wont see the same artwork on the walls, you wont find the servers all dressed alike and saying the same speech every time you sit down. TC's is very unique and has a wonderful vibe that you will not get anywhere else. Please try them out and say hello to Wendy the owner. You will find her waiting tables, washing dishes, hostessing, even coming around and saying hello to customers. How many owners actually do all of that? Wendy is very dedicated to her restaurant and living out her dream. Help keep TC's a permanent place in the great city of High Springs! Thank you
