Its seems a bit silly for them to even compare film with consumer PnS's when a dSLR will compare much easier to film SLRs without the downsides they've pointed out with the consumer cameras.

dSLRs have come along way with clean high ISOs, excellent exposure lattitude, fast focusing, very little to no shutter lag, resolution and high detail sensors allow large printing, ect.
