Based on where the exhaust valve is, I would say it is a Whites.

Great shots, were you guys kayaking from JB's Park on 3-15? I thought I saw you guys heading out into the pond, but didn't get a chance to say hello.

Ditto on that. I noticed no slave strobe on the subjects. Can you share the technique?

Megahurts,

I especially like the shot at the stoplight in JB. BTW, I have video of you both taking the shot of me. The flow is up considerably since that day, 2-6-08, but the viz is generally 70' or better now.

Sometimes the slave/strobe is positioned somewhere it won't be obvious. Other times the model has the slave/strobe and we work together to "hide" the slave/strobe. Indirect lighting seems to work the best.

That is one of the reasons I like diving with Jim...his Drysuit is an extra light source:)

You did a good job of hiding it and the sensor and/or indirect lighting. Was someone else holding a video flood in a couple of shots. I noticed the light color was pretty blue for a strobe in a couple. Very nice and I know that was a lot of work to get those. The good shot to bad shot ratio is usually not real good in underwater photography and worse still with cave shots.

I use my primary light with a video reflector to highlight facial areas. Adjusting the white balance brings out the blue in the water. No other divers, just myself and my model. My ratio of good to bad is probably... 1 good in 30 shots.
I'm getting better....it used to be 1 in 100.

Beautiful pics. Looks like Bonnies' SAC rate must be zero judging from the lack of bubbles!

VR3 - color
The blue light in the photo taken at the stop light comes from the Death Ray strategically placed behind me.
