Do you know either of the two pilots involved in the accident over the gulf yesterday?

Let's everybody take a moment to remember all of our service men and women, past and present. It can be a dangerous job even if they are not directly involved in combat.

I'm still waiting to hear the names and see if it's anyone I know, most of my friends haven't made it out of the Tyndall Course yet, but it is always a wake up call to see and hear about these accidents. All I've heard is that one pilot died and that it was some type of midair collision. When you are flying at those speeds that close to another aircraft and trying to max perform the jet, it is always dangerous, but needed to protect our country and loved ones. We try to mitigate as much of the danger as we can, but unfortunately not always successfully. They had a midair at my base in MS in DEC as well, but at least all four pilots ejected safely.
