for the serious buyer, I have two sony dcr trv-840 cameras, one for use in the housing, and the other one for topside stuff and downloading into computer. saves on wear and tear. also so everything is clear the one camera tripod mount is cracked and doesn't support the camera in the housing, and the camera for the housing doesn't seem to download to the computer, go figure ???
Housing is Lights and motion stingray II with wide angle lens, reg lens monitor back, and regular back. with battery pods, no batteries! i use the pods for ballast.
light system. Salvo dual 35 watt 15.4 amp hour canister, Y connector, wet mate connectors, and a 10 watt fixed focus light hand mount, and wet mate to use the canister as dive light when not doing videos. also have twin video arms for the lights
three batteries for the cameras, fire wire for downloading, wideangle lens for surface use, video light for surface use.
Pelican case 1540 model Came with the video travel set up, but i use it for the video lights to keep them safe.
I won't even go into the total investment I have in the system I'll break it apart as a last resort, but would prefer someone to take the entire system. I have had no problems with the housing or cameras other than those stated.
