Jordan,

Being a Michigan boy, I'll be rooting for the Tigers to be sure.

Now if we can get the Lions to have a winning season...once in my lifetime...pleeeeease?

How can anybody enjoy watching a "baseball" game that uses a designated hitter? :smt015

Michigan has a football team??? Oh wait... you mean that's not a comedy act going on at Ford Field? I thought they *tried* to loose!

Tigers.... yeah....

Now you want to those boys in RED! Then we'll talk!! Currently on top in the NHL.

lol, If it wasn't for Jason Hanson I don't think the Lions would win ANY of the few games they mange to. Ever notice how most of their scores are divisible by 3?

I was a season ticket holder for the Red Wings, from '83 to around '90 Figures, I paid my dues, went to "The Joe" and drank many beers rooting them on when they were know as "The Dead Things". There were three guys that sat by us actually wore paper bags with eye holes cut in them over their heads from time to time.
I give up my tickets and they started winning cups.

Yep, saw some great games towards the end of my ticket purchasing years though.

It was 1988, the playoffs, semi-finals, Joe Lewis Arena, Detroit hosting Edmonton...TRIPLE overtime. It was late May and it was so hot in there they had to stop the game a couple times and have the players skate around in a big circle to lift the fog from the ice due to the temp's in the arena.

The place was electrified, I've never seen anything quite like it, we were all yelling and screaming at the top of our lungs, it was deafening...Then Edmonton scored and it was like somebody threw a switch, you could [I]just about hear a pin drop for a second or two. Holy Crap what a game, even though we lost, probably the best game I ever attended.

Good times.....good times

Sorry, were supposed to be talking about Baseball!!!

In October 1992 I paid more than a week's salary for a ticket to the Braves' Game 7 victory over Pittsburgh in the NLCS. (Down 2-1, with two strikes and two outs in the ninth, Francisco Cabrerra drove in David Justice from third and Sid Bream from second with a single to left.)

It was worth EVERY PENNY!

Nothing is as exciting as watching the number 8 hitter batting .207 get walked, to get to the pitcher batting .056. Now theres entertainment.

Why do I put myself through this agony. At HALF time it's:
Chargers 35 / Lions 7

Same old same old...

I feel like a Cubs fan...for some strange reason I keep watching.

Ohhhhh the humanity. It's like passing by a bad accident. You know you shouldn't slow down to look, but you do.
