Who's going to the CDS Social at Jackson Blue?

At the CDF Social this past July, more than a few of my "cave country" friends said they wanted to come up to Jackson Blue and dive with me. When the CDS Social was announced for October 13, several divers implied they would come up and dive both Saturday and Sunday, and maybe camp at Florida Caverns State Park Saturday night.

Now it seems everybody has an excuse why they can't make it that weekend. I have an offer to go to Destin on the 14th to go kitesurfing. So do I stick around for both days?

Who's going to the social, and for how many days?

Joe Boone and I will be there Sat. Since Joe is diving with me I will be on backmount. More than welcome to join us for a slow leisure dive.

I'm a strong maybe. Sounds decisive, I know. We're camping in High Springs all week before, if we can pack up and get out early, and spend a few hours there on the way back to TN. Hope to see you guys and get a good dive in.

Well, I certainly won't be wanting for dive buddies on Saturday. :D

My question is mainly for Sunday. At the CDF Social in July I invited several people (Bob, Shirley, Bill, Chip...) to make it a weekend trip, but none of them seem to be able to make this one. As the Bears and I have recently gotten into kitesurfing, it looks like that's what we may be doing on the 14th.

If I can make it down, I will stay over until Sunday. It is pretty close to theTAG fall CaveIn, and time/money may be an issue.

Besides , you ALREADY have buddies for Sunday if you need it. :D
