Playing in the cracks and crevices of Cow Downstream only a few hundred feet in (after the main dive upstream) a little apart from my buddy and off line when my HID light begins to glow blue and flicker - but only for a few seconds before it goes out completely. Stuck up in the ceiling in a crack, off the line and now in the dark.
I see the glow of my buddy's light coming through the cracks below me and switch to my backup. Edge down into the passage below, group up with my buddy who is already waiting and exit the cave.
