Team of Two using Silent Submersion (UV-26) scooters and single stages. This was dive number two of the day. The dive was going well and we were enjoying the ride. I was looking around as we went up and down the slopes of the tunnel and then noticed I didn't see my buddies light. I stopped and turned around to see him coming around the corner signaling me with a very, very dim HID light. He gave the turn signal and we started out. The HID was getting dimmer and dimmer so he decided to turn it off and went to his backup. Exiting Manatee on scooters with the high flow in low vis with only one primary light was quite an experience but we handled it well staying close together and keeping my light ahead of him as much as possible so he didn't splat into the wall in the lower vis like a bug on a widshield. The rest of the dive was without incident.
