Why was the Arrow on the Merry-Go-Round branch of the 2nd T at little river turned around? It used to look like this:

But someone has changed it so it now looks like this:

Was this done to prevent confusion coming to this T in a siltout and finding two arrows pointing different passages as the quickest route to exit? According to the maps I have seen, the Merry-Go-Round tunnel is a little bit shorter than the Serpentine (Although only by like 10'), shouldn't that passage be the one with the arrow on it pointing out since it is the quickest route to the exit?
I don't much care, the only marker I follow at the Ts are my own, but I was curious as to the reasoning behind this change...
