Has anyone heard of sandblasting the insides of steel tanks? I have a set of 104's that had water in them from a poorly filtered compressor, and I have some bad pitting in the bottoms. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have tumbled them and it did a good job. If it is not to bad it can make them like new.

Greetings. You can sandblast, however, you cannot get to anything above the 1/2 point in the tank, unless some new fangled device has come along. We used to blast the teflon coating out of the old lined tanks (as much as we could) and tumble the rest out with marble chips.
