Please advise me from your experience. On thigh pockets glued permanently on a drysuit. Do i need two pockets or one is enough, which side? What is the better - velcro or zipper? Is the same position of pockets good enough for both classiq and sidemounting? Is pocket with that H label any better than recreational  ?

I have one on each side. Before you decide, try reaching your leg during a dive, to see where would be comfortable. Mine work fine for both back and sidemount, and are velcro. FWIW, I dive a 905.

I have two on my primary dry suit. One thin one for my wetnotes and extra knife on the front of my left thigh to keep it free and real easy when wearing sidemount. I have a large pocket on the right thigh, on the outside, but angled in a bit to better be able to get into it when wearing sidemount and/or stages. I love those big thigh pockets. I never had zippered thigh pockets, but happy with the velco. Never lost anything out of them.

I have used both zippered and velcroed; I definitely like the velcro better as they are easier to open and close one-handed underwater without the need to look down at them. There are a number of sources around for quality pockets that can be added on yourself, you are not limited to just the ones with that big ugly blue H on them (although having used a set of those in the past I can attest to their quality.) One or two depends on how much junk you need to store. You can get quite a bit down into the big bellows style pockets, but sometimes it is easier to split the load over two pockets to make retrieving what you need easier.
