Selling because i want this one: http://www.liquivision.ca

Received as a brand new (warranty replacement for the dead NitekDuo) from DR in sep-05, NitekDuo (Seiko similar to Tusa IQ600, Apex Archimed(?)) has some 18 dives on it (since last battery replacement). DR band replaced with doubled bungees, but the original wristlet is included. The body is scratched and my name marked with Sharpie's but the glass is pefectly intact and covered with a sticky film. User's manual, no case. $300+shipping (also can drop it at CEE).

It is two mixies nitrox (up to 100% O2) computer that is sufficient for non-helium "fullcave" dives that may require decompression. It doesn't pennalize for deep stops and has adjustable conservatism. Has large contrast display, user replaceable battery.

Ary,
Sir to my understanding this unit as a dive computer is still in the development stages and what is for sale is the free diving unit.

I would check on the computer status...

Best Regards, Andrew

The nitek duo is a full function dive computer capable of switching between two different nitrox mixes (21% -99%) at any time during the dive. It keeps a complete dive log profile in memory for up to 30 dives (or so depending on dive times) and can be downloaded to a computer for logging dives, graphing, creating a database of sites/buddies/gear, etc.

I like mine. I just wish they made a three-gas version (deco, travel mix, and bottom mix). I don't know for a fact, but my understanding is that their are two versions, an earlier version with some problems and a later version in which the problems have been corrected (theoretically anyway).

It's true that its' also marketed under a TUSA brand....I've seen the TUSA version and it's identical except for the external name painted on the body.

True, "Liquid" is not a computer. But hey, no delays in scanning-reading, great depth range and wide angle super contrast large display would make a great bottom timer should it be a little bit lower on a price.

My NitekDuo came a year ago as a replacement (second generation) for the first one who died beeping the good bye word of 30 min+ deco starting from 30' given that i'll make it to the entrance from 105'... Good thing i had a backup.

The liquivision bottom timers seem pretty nice. I am thinking of carrying them in the store. They are a little expensive but seem pretty nice overall.
