Geology and Cave Diving

The Peacock Springs CSO Committee is pleased to
sponsor this workshop

Saturday,January 15th at 2:00pm
at the Ichetucknee Springs State Park
It will be held in the media center at
the park’s south entrance.

This workshop will be presented by Jerry Murphy.
Mr Murphy has a Masters of Science degree in Geology,
and is a registered professional geologist.
He has been an active cave diver since 1989,with
experience in exploration,and scientific projects.

The purpose of this program is to give cave divers
• Better understanding of cave formation
• Identification of cave features
• Understanding of “what you are seeing”

Sounds like a cool workshop. Any associated costs, pre-registration, limit on the number of attendees or other pertinent information that we might find useful in making plans to be there?

This is a free workshop with no preregistration. The last workshop we did was very successful and this is the second one.

I'm interested in the fossils. Will there be any discussion on that?
