The basin was pretty clear, probably 70+, the cavern/cave was 40-50'.

40-50' sounds right to me...with localized areas a bit lower. I didn't see anything I would call less than 30', though. Just after the pit the vis was a bit less than the rest of the cave, but returned to 40-50' about p700' or so. We were kinda surprised at the depth downstream....the deepest we saw was 288'. I expected close to 300, especially with all the recent rain.

Hmm... not too exciting then... :(
Thanks.

Looks like Chip still has the LED up his nose. :smt033
Good Pics
The proper position for a Huds Up Display (HUD, AKA LED) is in front of your face, where it was, so you can see it. It would be rather nasty and hard to see if it was inserted up ones nose. Although, I could see this come in handy around Christmas time. Where are those antlers (AKA twin helmet worn lights) TJ? ;-)

Maybe you could change it to red for the holiday season. :smt114
At least you got one pic of me in the water.
I hope I was flushing the plumbing on you! :)
Nice Pics!!
Jay
It already flashes green, yellow or red.
Jay, you seemed to be flushing your plumbing everywhere on Saturday. Your backside plumbing got flushed right behind my truck bumper, in the parking lot, in the location where I stand to put my tanks away. Maybe next time you can flush your plumbing in the bushes?

Maybe he was just marking his territory...? :-D
Mike
I think you're probably right ;-) Very nasty stuff to step in. I need to disinfect my rock boot.

Nice Report Chip!
You forgot to mention that I asked you to drop your bottle on the downstream side of the mound, that's why I went directly over the mound to the downstream line as soon as I cleared the tube.
Seems like some local left you a present behind your truck. :)
You know that is not my spot, I have a regular area I use further down the road. :)
Good diving with you again! When is the next one?
Jay
I don't remember being asked to drop a bottle on the other side, but no big deal.
I will send out an e-mail, so we can schedule the next trip.
