Jeff and I repaired the gold line at about 2000' penetration. The temporary spliced has been switched to a "gold" line splice. We also headed on back past the Henkle and took out about half of the old line in the SSS tunnel, so now there is only parallel old and new lines in the back 400' of that tunnel...work in progress.
On another note...on the way out I stopped after the Corn Flakes to work on my scooter clutch. In the process, I dropped my aluminum clutch disc between there and the lips. I didn't have time for a good search and swam out with the clutchless scooter. If anyone finds the clutch disc, I would welcome it back. Thanks,
Lee Gibson

I've heard of this location many times but "where is it located in the system?"

The SSS tunnel starts at a jump off the Henkle Bypass line and ends at a "T" back into the gold line at about 4000' penetration. The Henkle restriction itself is about 3000' straight down the gold line.

Hey Lee,
I'll be in there this saturday trying out a drysuit, so I'll take a good look around for it.
IF I find it, I'll leave it at the fill station on the corner.
Safe diving,

I spent some time looking for it tonight on my way out (through the cornflakes and across the room to the lips) and didn't see anything. Sorry.

Hi Lee - I found it this evening and gave it to Rich.
I was coming back through the SSS. Jeff mentioned something about some missing line but it seemed fine to me. However, the doubled lines at the far end weirded me out a little too - wish I had remembered you mentioning it. :)

Gary,
:-D Thanks for the find. I will have the SS up and running tonight.
Sorry about the double lines at the back end of the SSS tunnel. Jeff and I will get that cleared up this week.
Lee
