LABNAHA EXPLORATION & EXPEDITION

It inhabits about 100 different kind of local trees and plants in just one acres of land as well as thousands of different species of insects, birds, marsupials and mammals. Many species are nearly extinct like the Puma and Jaguar along with monkey species like the (saraguato araguato piria) which has in the state of Yucatan already been completely extinct. We count with a family of 6 living members in the Labnaha property.

Labnaha protects as well the subterranean rivers called “Cenotes”.
The crystal clear water inhabits hundreds of different vertebras, fishes and bacterial crows. Thousands of species life depend on the “Cenotes” as their only water source.
The first reason of the disappearance of the Ecosystem is the Riviera Maya is clearly overwhelming amount of constructions. The consequences is the disappearance of the natural habitat not just the flora and fauna, as well complete cave systems like the
Balneario Azul, or the Nahoch Nahich downstream section and the contamination of System Ponderosa, System Chac Mool and many more.
Labnaha is a small company offering Cave & Technical diving which doesn’t receive any support of any source neither from a governmental or not governmental association.
Labnaha’s only source of income is the small Labnaha Eco Park also known as the (Magic Mayan World).
It has converted into an oasis in the middle of the destruction.
Labnaha’s policy is to protect and conserve its Ecosystem which includes everything above and underneath the ground.
Together we can make a big change!
How can we protect this area?
-It is forbidden to hunt or catch any animal (in Mexico exists a big Black Market
Where exotic animals being sold)
-It is forbidden to cut trees and to construct any kind of building which conflicts with the Eco system.
Labnaha works hand in hand with the Mayan community to protect them from the unstoppable construction of Hotel complexes, Golf Camps, aqua parks, ect.
That’s why when we organize an expedition we don’t just think about the underground exploration but about the whole surrounding area.
During the expeditions you’re going to spend days and nights in direct contact with Pure Nature and the Mayan community. You’ll learn how to live and love this unique still untouched paradise.
