I’m skeptical. This is the same people that were talking about putting a centrifuge on your back to separate the air out of water. I read in several other places that the amount of breathable air water is so small that it would be impossible for that thing to be usable for breathing.

This design they are talking about here is a little different but they have speced out that the water pump runs at 2000 lpm. That comes out to 528 gallons per minute. I couldn’t imagine what a 500gpm pump on your back would do to the vis but it might work as the worlds fastest DPV. I think the nail in his theoretical coffin would be when I ask him what is going to happen to my breathing mix when I run though the sulfide layer at hospital hole and am swimming through water that has no air dissolved in it or the gases that are dissolved in it are toxic?

I doubt their is any oxygen disolved in the water found in caves
not to mention some other things like how sollubiity of a gas decreases with temperature increase.
so it wont work on the surface (if its warm) and it wont work at depth (cuz its deep) so it pretty much fails at being a parctical S.C.U.B.A.

perhaps this could dubble as a scooter, with all the water flow and all. :D
