Ouch. That had to hurt (the wallet at least!) :D
That is right at the best entry point. I think some dude was just too lazy to walk the hill wearing his gear.
Did you look to see if there was a primary reel tied off?
LOL

p.s. It IS time for a Telford clean-up. The place was thoroughly trashed a couple weeks ago.

Anybody else notice that off in the distance there is...what appears to be....a white Trailblazer. Hmmm....I think there was some foul play here...who do we know that drives a WHITE TRAILBLAZER....Tj, you know who that might be? :-D

Sad to say but that's better than what it was like in September. Back then the dumpster was full too. :(
Nevermind the beer cans, diapers and only 'God knows what' scattered through the woods.

We lost a gold ring lost in Telford/Terrapin! Can you help us find it?
Well we didn't actually "lose" it, but we "found" it on the video Zdiver shot when we got back home.
It is in the middle of the bottom probably within a five minute swim at most from the Terrapin entrance.
A HID light on flood pointed at the bottom and a sharp eye should be all it takes to find it!
I am not offering a reward, since it is not really "ours" but I would at least like a picture of it if someone finds it!

It looks slightly worse as of the day before yesterday.... I wonder, why have a little dumpster if they are not coming to empty it????
Did I miss something?
It was a good idea to have the dumptster but became just as useless as the old 55 gal drum that was there before, the one that wasn't cleaned/emptied regularly...

Maybe it is just the shot angle, but is that dumpster empty?

Sadly it was....

Not as bad as what the picture implies.
The dumpster gets full, it overflows, it spills everywhere.
Someone empties the dumpster but does not clean up any of the spillage--which probably is not part of their job description.
Then you have an empty dumpster surrounded by trash.
Would be far worse without the dumpster service that someone is providing.

The area around the dumpster is not really the problem, It is correct that once it is full the stuff just piles up around it. Ten minutes with a rake and a shovel. What we need to do is get the crap all over the woods. I have the week off between Christmas and New Year anyone ready for a clean up morning?

The NACD pays for the dumpster at Telford and has, in the past, scheduled pickups on a bi-weekly basis. The Board has just approved weekly pickups so I will call Waste Pro today to get that scheduled.
I hope this helps some with the mess.

Hey Jean could you take a look and see so we can communicate with the NACD if the Dumpster needs weekly During the winter? I'm going to suspect no. I know I went by there a couple of times this summer and it NEVER looked like it was emptied, for three months.

Fantastic. Thank you!
I'm up for a clean-up morn between Xmas & New Years, too. Let us know what day.

I don't see any mention of the Telford Clean Up that is posted on TDS for this Saturday. I will be there and plan on giving two hours and then a dive hopefully. Is anyone else from the CDF planning on attending?
