Ryan,
Thanks for sharing your photos its very nice of you.
We enjoyed them. My husband is the cave diver
it gives me the opportunity to see what he sees.

What sort of photo equipment did you use for these shots, eg strobes etc.?

Mainly a lot...Bird says I dive sidemount because I can't afford to buy bands and manifolds after all the photo crap we bought.
These shots were taken with a Nikon D70 in an Aquatica housing with two DS-125 substrobes, plus a 100 W HID light for additional lighting.

Birds right but I surprised your not snorkling with the strobes and the 100 watt HID/ Do you have a light canister the size of tanks with it?

Look at the pics....you can see the canister hanging down that's rigged like a stage bottle.

Ryan,
These are arguably the finest I have seen of P1 to date...I'm astounded at the area lighted...are the 125's aimed to coincide or diverge??

The 125's were set way wide (10.5 mm fish eye lens)...The strobes are actually pretty far back behind the dome port of the camera and you can still see some flash from the strobes in the pictures. There was a ton of particulate matter in Peacock that day that forced us to point the strobes at about a 30 degree angle shooting across the dome port. We also have diffusers on the stobes so that helps a lot to.

You guys should check out some of the video that Ryan has shot, it is absolutely fantastic. If only he would get busy and get another DVD put out for us now.

I am working on the Bozelle one right now....I finally got music I can license, so I am producing two audio tracks. One with just the bubbles, and the other with background music. Bozelle is a very nice cave to dive.

I cannot wait to see that one Ryan. After listening to you and Edd talk about the dive, I am sure the DVD will be great. Give us a heads up when it is ready.
