Great... so the very area we're trying to "protect" is going to get a parkway right through it...

Did anyone at Cambrian know about this proposal? They are all over this area and have a "really good" relationship with SJWMD.

Won't be long before all of our florida springs are a nice green color...

If they knew about it, why did they not notify people to go to the meeting held tonight at Apopka highschool to bring up concerns?

I've known about this highway extension plan, part of the beltway around Orlando, for years. For years its been postponed for conservation and other reasons. I consider it a success, so far, in keeping it from happening. Are we talking about the same thing?

Yes same thing. What I understand is that the "plan" apparently is getting more "supporters" such as the DOT, etc... People just need to be aware of this plan and the meeting associated with it.
