Has anyone purchased DVD's from Cavex2. I have 4 and all of them are defective with multiple bad spots on them. Anyone else have this problem?

Have you tried playing them on a different player?I had a similar problem and found that it was my DVD player that was the problem. Either way contact Cavex2productions and he will replace your defective DVD and like to get feedback about the problem.

I have not tried their DVD versions but I do have 10 of their VHS tapes and have had no problems with any of them. I agree with jpdiver, contact Harvey or Jennifer if the disks are defective and they should make it right for you. They've always given me great service.

For what it's worth, I have had much better results with a variety of drives, including dedicated players, supporting the DVD-R format than the others such as DVD+R.

We just wanted to let our customers know that the problem with
the dvds that would freeze up, was the Memorex label on the dvd.
If anyone has a problem, please soak the dvd in Simple Green for 30
minutes and gently scrape the label off with your fingernail. Be careful
and don't scratch the silver surface. Rinse with water and gently dry with
a soft towel. If you still have any problems, please email us at cavex2@aol.com
We apologize for the inconvenience!
Thanks for being so understanding and we sincerely appreciate it.
Hugs,
Jennifer

Well I have several dvds from Harvey and they were all the memorex brand and they all skipped and jumped like crazy I sent them back to harvey and he replaced them all. Then I got the new ones and they skipped in differnt places so I did the soaking in mild soap and warm water and removed the lables and BAMM!!!!! end of problem no skipps at all and play all the way through.
But I will say this I am glad that there is somone like Harvey out there making these fine cave diving films.

LOL I'm rolling here!
Does this mean we could put an O2 vip sticker on there as a label too?
Wow the list of things that Simple Green works for just keeps getting longer!

I purchased "Jess's Hole" at a New Year gear swap and it was a great video except for the technical problems. I followed the directions posted in this thread, but when I put it in the dryer on gentle cycle with soft towels it still broke into dozens of shards. What should I do?
I am just kidding. I haven't tried the fix yet, but I will soon. ;)

I have 2 DVD's from them and they play perfectly. I know that I have had issues with different brands of DVD's playing/not playing in different players. My cyberhome DVD player (30.00 @ BestBuy) seems to play most no problem.
