What type of innertube i should look for to replace bands at 8" LP Faber cyl? Where can i buy it? I stop at Carquest but they didn't have them, and another dive gear supplier :-) , Home Depot only had innertube for lawnmover which i assume would be too small (?) in diameter.

Andre ... I got my inner tubes, for HP 120s, at Advanced Auto Parts. I don't remember the exact details, but they were the larger inner tubes for car tires. :)

Andre, I use 8" Ceramic Rubber bands... they are cheap and easy to find... :-D

Go somewhere that changes tires and ask to look through their trash pile. Standard 8in car tubes work great on stages/sm cylinders, and a 10-11in truck tube is fantastic for securing the latches on a scoooter. Look through the refuse pile and you can usually find a tube with the rubber still in fairly good condition. Sure beats buying them (as long as you don't leave a mess most places will tell you to go help yourself.)

This one promised to review my registration request during 48 hours and decide if they will allow me to buy their product :-) Now this is kinda innovative security method, first time i ever saw :-) We don't sell our bands just to anyone :-)

Those same bands are sold at Cave Excursions...both locations used to carry them, anyways. I haven't looked for them in quite a while, but that's what I use. I bought a full bag from them a couple years ago.

Good afternoon Andrey,

There are two sizes of wheelbarrow innertubes that when cut are marginal
for your needs. Cave Excur sells bands that are exactly what you are looking for, at 25 cents each. I have extras I can give you tomorrow at Silver Glenn springs and you can pay me back when you go by Cave Excur some time in the future. How many do you need? 4?

I have talked my wife into going to Silver Glen tomorrow, and some of our relatives may go also. I hope to see you there.

Best wishes and safe caving,

Ken Roop

Thanks Ken. I'm sorry to miss Silver Glen swimming. i had to take care of our old car, it just falls apart lately with all that summer heat. I didn't make it anywhere this weekend :-(
