I know that i can get replacement plastic blades from rodney at submerge for a ss dpv, but are there other sources and where do you get al blades? Bill

Bill, you can get AL blades from AUL.
Jeff'll hand polish and weight match them for you also if you'd like, sorry but I don't know about other plastic sources.

Rodney does not recommend metal blades for his scooters. He uses the stock Mako blades and "pins" them to make them somewhat stronger. I broke a blade last year at Ginnie, the prop was stopped by a stick while in the run and it simply broke at the pivot point without further damage to the scooter or motor. Peformed exactly as it was supposed to...
